Our Story
ESB Touching Lives Foundation, established in February 2023, is instituted to provide support to children in underserved communities, with a special focus on SDG 14, Quality Education. At ESB, we focus on issues of personal and economic development and provide solutions that do not last temporarily but leave permanent marks in the lives of people around us.
We are a circle of humanitarians who dream of change; who believe change is possible and we see that you can be a part of that change!

The Challenge We Face
Primary School Enrollment
Lack Basic Reading Skills

Dropouts Due to Poverty
Ghana has seen a commendable surge in primary school enrolment, yet this accomplishment contends with an alarming decline in literacy rates. In rural areas, where most families depend on subsistence farming and very low income, widespread poverty poses a significant obstacle to quality education.
Educational costs like books, uniforms, and food turn into unaffordable luxuries. These young minds are forced by economic hardship to leave classrooms and engage in labour-intensive occupations to provide financial support for their families.
Our Solution: Literacy Equals Opportunity Project (LEOP)
Educational Resources
We provide essential learning materials including textbooks, stationery, school bags, shoes, and uniforms to remove basic logistical barriers to education.
Mentorship Program
Regular career mentorship and guidance sessions to inspire hope and expand children's visions of what they can become.
Long-term Support
Identifying and supporting top-performing students through high school and potentially university education, creating valuable role models for their communities.
Creating Lasting Change
Our interventions are not just creating opportunities for poverty-stricken children; they are laying the foundation for a sustained culture of educational commitment and socio-economic advancement in rural Ghana. We are creating a new, empowered generation that will take rural Ghana into a future brimming with potential and progress.
